Emerging from winter

Turkey the Sacred Ibis. An orphan from the past breeding season who lives in and around the gallery

We have been pretty dormant for a couple of months now - this is Montagu's quiet time and we have used the opportunity to do work on the gallery, painting, installing more lights and expanding into the wide passage to accommodate Bismillah Carpets. Macushla has joined forces with Derryl Barlow in this business, they are starting to build up stocks of beautiful, reasonably priced vintage oriental carpets and will be hosted by Ibis in future.

While Hennie and Sue are away for the whole of September, the gallery will be manned by Macushla and Carolyn. Our next formal, dedicated exhibition will take place in early December, but meanwhile do drop in to see the carpets, pottery and new pencil and charcoal drawings by Carolyn, as well as other work.
